Prompt #2 What did I embrace in 2018?
I embraced many individual things, but it boils down to living in the tangible world.
To be honest, this is a place I have never lived before. It has been far easier to live in my head my entire life. In the land of fantasy and daydreams as a child. Then also the land of visions and shamanic journeys as an adult. And finally, over the past ten years, also the land of blogging and social media.
Fantasy, daydreams, visions, shamanic journeys, blogging, social media.
Note the direct lack of contact with the tangible mundane world and in person relationships. Both of which can be, and often are, messy, noisy, unpredictable, unfathomable, uncontrollable.
The confusion and humiliation I felt attempting to navigate this chaos pushed me even further into a controlled world.
After 55 years, I still wasn’t in control, and yet I persisted.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. – attributed to Albert Einstein
Reminded of this quote, I recently asked myself:
Okay, Eliza, what is it you are doing over and over that is not working?
Everything I came up with fell under the umbrella heading of
Not Living In the Real World
So, I consulted the Akashic Records (that actually works, so no need to throw the baby out with the bath water) and asked what was the most important information I needed to know. I was very shortly provided the answer, which I will discuss in the next post, and voila, embraced living in the tangible world.
Okay, maybe not instantaneously. It is still a work in progress, but the embracing is real, and deep, and profound.
And guess what?
The results are proving to be very different.
In a wonderful, glorious, life affirming way.
Stay curious, my lovelies!
